The Ashley would be one such example known to several of the people who've commented here.

I guess my issue was with a few pubs I'd been to more recently with Christians.Johnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02487495921222083129noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18654361.post-1159810550204662792006-10-02T18:35:00.000+01:002006-10-02T18:35:00.000+01:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.Dartyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01660697502934176521noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18654361.post-1159810384354051872006-10-02T18:33:00.000+01:002006-10-02T18:33:00.000+01:00everyone is right for themselves! The latter is something that is going to affect every aspect of your life and your ongoing expression of your faith. Going to a pub with Christians or non-Christians isn't going to suddenly make you behave in an inappropriate way - only if you're looking for an excuse to do so, in which case it isn't a good environment Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18654361.post-1159731420173941442006-10-01T20:37:00.000+01:002006-10-01T20:37:00.000+01:00"Everything is permissible for me"—but not everyth..."Everything is permissible for me"—but not everything is beneficial. I can see where you're coming from, although I don't necessarily think that there's anything inherently wrong with all-Christian groups going to the pub. I think that 'it's a good place to sit and chat' is actually a good argument - of an evening, pubs may be the only public place you can do this, and some of us aren't students who can just sit around in coffee shops all dayAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
